How can I love my son to read and strengthen him?!
Reading is a source of knowledge and the first basis on which a person relies in the formation of culture (information), his own thought and experiences, and it is important for parents to be keen on teaching their children the love of reading and instilling it as part of their lives to learn about everything that is available and useful.
How to make a child love to read:
There are many methods that help parents to make their child love reading and strengthen him, including:
• Reading in front of him: When a parent reads in front of their child, they stimulate his curiosity and knowledge of the thing being read.
• Acquisition of children’s magazines: It is important for parents to acquire children’s magazines. When he starts reading them when he is young, he will start trying to read them, and one of the parents should help him in that, which contributes to the development of his love for reading.
• Share reading: When parents share their reading with their child, he will be able to pronounce the words in a correct manner, for example: his mother reads a paragraph from the story, then asks him to read it again, and so he will love reading gradually.
• Reading picture stories: Picture stories are useful educational aids that help make the child love reading. When he looks at the pictures attached to a story, he begins to search for the sentences that indicate them, so that he can clearly interpret the meaning of the pictures in the story.
• Use of smart devices: Smart devices such as tablets help the child to read various stories, because they provide him with education while reading by reading them to him, and presenting them in front of him in an illustrated way, which contributes usefully to the development of his love of reading.
At what age is a child supposed to be able to read?
This is due to the parents, as accustoming the child to reading at an early age contributes to enriching his linguistic abilities in expression, and developing his cognitive perceptions, and thus it is easier for him to acquire reading from vocabulary, as he cannot read words and understand their meaning if he does not know them, there are important foundations that must be acquired before Learning to read, namely that the child knows a minimum vocabulary, then he must have phonemic perception, which means that he understands that words are made of small verbal units. Most children are cognitively ready between five and six years to start learning to read, some of them are ready before this age and others after, and on the other hand, the child’s mastery of reading goes back in large part to the pre-academic education stage, i.e. in the nursery school.
My son is weak in reading and writing, what is the reason for this and what is the solution?!
The child may have great difficulty in reading, and this is usually due to three things, either the reason is the student, the teacher, or the correct arrangement of the lessons (in terms of introduction and delay).
So what is the correct order of lessons in order to properly establish your son?
The following order must be observed:

• Memorize the letters cut off (S, A, B)
• Memorizing the letters in the Fatah movement (r, n, d).

In general, the child follows practical examples in front of him, and the parents are the most prominent role models, as the Messenger of God was a role model for his nation. Parents must act as practical examples and mix him with friends who have the same interests, and as a result he will have a love of reading, and patience with the child at this age is the key to success.
